Single Camera to VGA Monitor

Application:
Remote camera with network connection to be viewed on a VGA monitor.

Example: User prefers slim, flat-panel VGA monitors that save space.

Solution:
Standard CCTV camera is connected to the MPEG-4 encoder (e.g. VIP X1 or VideoJet X SN Series) using standard coax cable.  The encoder digitally compresses the signal for transmission across the Ethernet network. The VIP XD decoder decompresses the signal and converts it back into standard video. The user views the video image on a PC type VGA monitor.

Notes:
The VIP XD is also capable of receiving four MPEG-4 video streams and presenting them as a quad-view on the VGA monitor.
