Single Camera to Analog Video Monitor

Application:
Remote camera with network connection to be viewed on an analog monitor.

Example: Truck scales located on entrance to bridge, needs to be viewed on opposite side of river.  A network connection is available.

Solution:
Standard CCTV camera is connected to the encoder using standard coax cable. The encoder digitally compresses the signal for transmission across the Ethernet network. The decoder decompresses the signal and converts it back into standard video. The user views the video image on a standard CCTV video monitor.

Notes:
If the VIP XD MPEG-4 decoder is used, it is capable of receiving four MPEG-4 video streams and presenting them as a quad-view on the analog monitor. An IP camera or a separate encoder (as shown above) could be chosen as a video source.
