Complete, easy-to-install video recording system

Bosch has released the third generation DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 recording unit. Designed to work with the video management system from Bosch (BVMS) and the Video Recording Manager (VRM), the DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 combines recording, video management, and local operation, offering a complete, easy-to-install video recording system.

High resolution video and improved storage

DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 units

The DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 units are available in two versions offering up to 256 channels and 192 TB in storage capacity and support Dynamic Transcoding for high resolution video regardless of the available bandwidth.

  • 2U is a RAID 5 and RAID 6 supported 2U rack appliance for up to 256 channels with 8 internal HDDs and a maximum storage capacity of 96 TB
  • 3U is a RAID 5 and RAID 6 supported 3U rack management appliance for up to 256 channels with 16 internal HDDs and a maximum storage capacity of 192 TB

Advanced video management, search, and data consolidation supports informed decisions

The DIVAR IP all-in-one 7000 units are specifically designed to work with BVMS to provide seamless management of digital video, audio and data across an IP network. It includes basic features such as viewing, recording, replaying, and exporting as well as advanced video management functions such as event and alarm handling, or forensic search. Combined with cameras with built-in Video Analytics from Bosch, the forensic search capability makes it possible to retrieve the right footage from hours of stored video instantly and analyse the scene by providing different statistics so an operator can act faster and more efficiently to potential threats. When integrated with Intelligent Insights, an AIoT video solution from Bosch, customers can easily evaluate a complete scene. Intelligent Insights consolidates and augments data from multiple cameras to establish a decision center that provides full semantic scene understanding and supports informed decisions, based on live and historical data.

Efficient, reliable data management

The Video Recording Manager (VRM) makes the storage of data extremely reliable. It ensures that recorded video streams are distributed equally among the units, minimizing the chance of over-writing and meeting retention times. In addition, there is no single point of failure to compromise availability, even when part of the system goes down.

Software Maintenance Program maximizes system performance

Bosch provides a software maintenance program that applies to BVMS on all DIVAR IP units. Two levels of maintenance ensure maximum system performance for customers. Bosch Software Assurance GO is the standard software maintenance offering, included at no cost for any Bosch software. Benefits include access to the Bosch Building Technologies Knowledge Base for product information and technical documents as well as transparency regarding data security. Bosch Software Assurance PRO offers premium software maintenance for a fee. Besides all the GO benefits, the PRO level includes the latest software releases and data security and privacy updates. It also ensures full technical support via e-mail and phone, plus hotfixes to maintain system stability and security.
