Bosch introduces the AUTODOME inteox 7000i; a new model within the AUTODOME family that runs on a new open camera platform called INTEOX. A platform that is set to revolutionize the security and safety industry and benefit both customers, system integrators and app developers. The new AUTODOME inteox 7000i cameras employ built-in Artificial Intelligence (AI) including video analytics while moving, machine learning capabilities, and deep neural network-based (DNN) video analytics, while also having the ability to add third-party software apps for customized applications.
Built-in AI supports predictive solutions
The new AUTODOME inteox 7000i cameras support predictive solutions, thanks to built-in Intelligent Video Analytics that uses metadata to add sense and structure to video footage. This enables the cameras to understand and make sense of what they are seeing. An important first step to convert video data into actionable insights and build predictive solutions. While the camera is panning, tilting, or zooming, it can detect a moving object or person and alert an operator. The operator can then anticipate situations requiring attention or corrective measures before they become a potential security or safety risk. Built-in Camera Trainer (machine learning technology) can instruct the cameras to identify new objects and situations within a scene defined explicitly by the user. Instructions can be added and retained, and used by the camera to process future scenes. For example, with Camera Trainer, operators can teach the system to recognize occupied and free parking spots and receive alerts when all spots are occupied. This application delivers reliable insights to optimize traffic flow and prevent unwanted situations.
It allows integrators to easily customize security systems even further, enabling them to go beyond their basic functionality. In turn, app developers can leverage the camera's metadata generated by its built-in video analytics, deep neural network-based video analytics, or machine learning functionality to build and introduce innovative new software to the market. Thanks to built-in AI, the ability to add third-party software apps, and starlight technology, the AUTODOME inteox 7000i cameras are ideal for city surveillance, traffic monitoring or applications that require coverage of large areas.
Excellent low-light performance
Complementing the AUTODOME inteox cameras’ built-in AI is Bosch’s starlight technology. This captures highly-detailed color images in scenes with minimum ambient light down to 0.0077 lux as standard, while fast-moving objects are captured without difficulty thanks to the high frame rate of 30 fps. Perfect exposure of (moving) objects in unevenly lit scenes is safeguarded by a high dynamic range (HDR) of 120 dB. The excellent image quality of these cameras is backed by an optional rugged bubble that withstands high-impact (IK10), dust and moisture ingress (IP66), and temperatures ranging from -40°C to +55°C (-40°F to +149°F).
Connecting to the secure Bosch cloud supports sustainable business practices
Like all other Bosch solutions, the AUTODOME inteox 7000i connects securely to the Bosch , a cloud-based service offering device management with daily or advanced configuration and set up, and continuous health monitoring from anywhere. Device management enables automated or on-demand firmware updates to be carried out remotely and efficiently for single and multiple devices, ensuring the system meets the highest reliability standards. Because video data is often highly critical and sensitive, Bosch has a systematic approach to maximizing data security focused on a built-in Secure Element to keep video data secure. With remote configuration and management, system integrators can reduce installation and set-up time and minimize costly commutes, resulting in sustainable business practices that are economically viable, socially responsible, and environmentally friendly.
