Essential Video Analytics
Essential Video Analytics
Essential Video Analytics is the first step in object detection and data collection. This technology is used for general security and safety applications in sterile environments indoors or out. In advanced intrusion detection it can trigger alerts for loitering, or when a person or object enters a pre-defined field. It can also help to enforce health and safety regulations such as no-parking zones and blocked emergency exits.
This advanced technology takes the next step in converting video data into insights at the edge. Designed for mission critical applications, it is highly resilient to false triggers caused by demanding weather conditions, such as snow, wind, rain, hail, and water reflections. It also withstands environments subject to vibration, such as on bridges. Intelligent Video Analytics enables long-distance intrusion detection in extreme weather conditions, making it ideal for perimeter applications at airports, parking lots, critical infrastructures, and government buildings. Its resilience also makes it ideal for ship tracking, traffic monitoring at intersections, highways or tunnels, or high-performance people counting.
We have offered this technology since 2019. It enables system integrators to tailor Intelligent Video Analytics to detect objects or situations that matter most to their customers.
Camera Trainer substantially improves the level of security for people and property, but also opens up new customized applications and uses. For example, video cameras can be taught to recognize and detect stationary objects or certain situations, instead of being triggered by motion alone. This enriches video metadata as Camera Trainer can deliver more informative data, such as when objects are present, as well as when they have been removed. Data that can improve security or efficiencies, new business opportunities, or even additional revenue streams.
Developed on Bosch's intellectual property in automotive applications, this software is founded on deep neural network-based video analytics. It learns using high-quality, real-life data from the field, so it can recognize patterns to tackle more complex tasks faster, easier, and more accurately. The software is designed to detect, classify, and count overlapping trucks, buses, motorcycles, and bicycles in congested roadway scenes, with additional metadata, including speeds, location, and color. It also can detect and count people.
Intelligent Insights works hand in hand with our Video Analytics. It consolidates, augments, and converts data from multiple cameras into actionable insights. These are visualized in easy-to-understand widgets and as a report, allowing users to analyze and compare data to make for informed decisions and use business intelligence beyond security.
