Unlike traditional Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras, Bosch PTZ cameras feature Video Analytics on the move. Intelligent tracking automatically follows a moving object and dynamically adjusts the field of view to capture optimal images - even while the camera is panning, tilting or zooming.

Video Analytics while moving is available in:

• MIC IP fusion 9000i
• AUTODOME IP starlight 7000i

For complete situational awareness, metadata from the MIC IP fusion 9000i camera’s built-in optical and thermal imager can be fused together, regardless of which video stream is being watched. If an event is detected but is not necessarily visible in the video stream you are watching, an alarm is triggered and you can click an overlay box to see video data related to that event. This gives you the advantage of being able to focus on ‘invisible’ things that require attention.

Because Video Analytics automatically generates information on an object’s location, speed and trajectory as part of the metadata, you can identify the real world location of any object that is being detected and tracked. This can then be visualized in the camera’s global positioning system (GPS), or in a local map coordinate system, to give you a clearer picture of any potential security threat.

As you’d expect from our robust security systems, built-in tamper detection generates alarms when cameras are hooded or marked, blinded, de-focused or repositioned. With Video Analytics you can customize your tamper alarm to the exact level you demand.

Unlike other solutions that only offer searches via recorded alarms, forensic search enables you to search through material while continually changing search criteria. There’s no need to set them up as initial alarm criteria, you can add new criteria at any time, giving you complete flexibility in the way you search for evidence.
