How do I register/log in for the site?

When you go to the Bosch Training website, there will two options: one to register, and one to log in. If you have not yet registered, you will need to click Register and enter all applicable information in the required fields in the online form.

This information is sent to the Training Administrator, who will verify your information and, within one business day, email you with the username you chose and your password. If for some reason you are denied access, you will be contacted by someone from the Training department.

You can request a new password under the new login button, by clicking Request Password. Be sure to check your junk mail for this new password, as it may not be sorted.

How do I find classroom courses I may want to take?

How do I find classroom courses I may want to take?

All public courses are on the left-hand side once in the LearnWorld tab.

  • Go to the product line you wish, then go to the Classroom Courses section.
  • Click Register/Open Training Plan
  • Click on the (Classroom) option, the registration tab will now show the specific dates.
  • Click Book for your desired class date

I’m having trouble with Internet Explorer. How do I fix it?

We recommend using Firefox for the best access with the Training Academy. Please allow for pop-ups with the academy, and have the latest version of Flash Player and Java updated. The below browsers and plug-ins will allow for training courses to work.

  • Internet Explorer, version 7.0 through 10.0
  • Mozilla Firefox, version 3.6.x.x and above
  • Safari (Mac), version 5.0 and above
  • Google Chrome, version 23.0.x.x and above
  • Java, version 1.6 and above
  • Flash Player, version 9.0.124 and above
  • Adobe Reader, version 9.0 and above

Not sure if your system meets these requirements? You can run a system check in the Bosch Training Academy website once you have logged in. At the top right of your screen, click Check System.

The Software Checker will run in a separate browser window, and let you know if your system passes the check, or which components fail to meet the requirements.

How do I change my user profile information?

  • Log in
  • Go to the My Profile tab at the top
  • Click Modify User Profile on the left side

What do I do if I change employers/companies?

If you change employers, you will need to notify the training department so that we can update your user profile. You can contact the training department by email or phone to notify us of this change.

How do I view all the training available?

All of the training available to you is on the left side when you log in. Stay in Learn World, and expand any topic you are interested in by clicking on the arrow.

How do I view all training already completed?

  • Log into your account
  • Go to My Profile
  • Go to Show Certificates. All past trainings will be in this tab.

How can I find and take an online training course?

All courses are available on the left side in the Learn World tab.

  • Go to the product line you are interested in, then find the online or classroom folder.
  • Find the appropriate online class and click Register/Start.

Many of these courses have multiple modules, please complete each module in order, to fully complete the course.

Why won’t the online training course I am trying to take open?

If you have a pop-up blocker enabled in your browser, it can prevent the online training course from launching properly. Try disabling the pop-up blocker in your browser, and relaunching the course. Make sure to relaunch the module from the Online Content Structure page for the course, which displayed when you launched the course initially.

Also, remember that the online course opens in a new tab or window, depending on your browser settings. It is possible that the course is open in another window or tab. Check your taskbar for another open browser window or your main browser tab for another open tab.

If you still can’t open an online course, it is possible there is a larger issue. After trying these tips, if you are still unable to launch your online course, please contact the training department by email or by phone.

I can’t finish my online course right now, will I have to start over?

You can pick up where you left off by going to the My Trainings tab, then clicking the start button on the right.

How do I view or review an online training course that I already completed?

You can always go back through the course through the My Trainings tab, then opening the specific course and choosing the module you would like to review.

What if a course requires payment?

After signing up for a course that requires payment, you will be placed in the class as “requested” a seat. You will then receive payment instructions within 24-48 hours. Once you have completed these instructions, you will then receive a receipt for the course and will officially be enrolled.

What if there are no seats available for the scheduled offering I want?

If the offering is full, you will have to request to be waitlisted with the training admin at Please specify the course, date, and your account name on the site.

How can I withdraw from a classroom course?

What if a course has no dates scheduled?

If a class has no dates scheduled, then there are no current options for the course. Please keep checking on the site for updates in the class schedule.

How can I print and view my certificate after completing a course?

  • Go to My Profile
  • Scroll down to show certificates
  • Click the icon by the certificate to print or save
